Post Graduate Clinical Supervision
Clinical Supervision Program
Polaris Wellness Group is dedicated to educating and strengthening future generations of therapists through high quality clinical supervision. Supervisees will be provided a diverse client population, opportunity to develop clinical specialties, and an understanding of day-to-day operations of a group practice.
We offer post graduate clinical supervision to both Licensed Professional Counselor Candidates (LPCC) and Licensed Social Workers (LSW). Supervision is provided on site by the owners of Polaris Wellness Group, Ariana Gioia, NCC, LPC-S, CCTP, and Sarah Roberts, LCSW, LISW-CP-S.

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Requirements
The Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies mandates the following as eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Completion of a Master’s or Doctoral Degree from a CACREP approved program, or CCE approved education equivalent
- Passing score of the Jurisprudence Examination
- Passing score of the National Counselor Examination
- Completion and documentation of at least 2000 clock hours of clinical, post-master’s practice over a minimum of 24 months
- 100 hours of clinical supervision, 70 hours of which must be face-to face individual supervision

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
The Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies mandates the following as eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Passage of ASWB Clinical examination
- Completion and documentation of 3,360 hours of experience over a minimum of 24 months; to include 96 hours of supervision, 48 hours which must be face-to-face individual supervision, distributed evenly over 24 months
- Completion of a Healthcare Professions Profile (HPPP); and
- Passage of the current Colorado Mental Health Professions online Jurisprudence Examination.
