Healing occurs when we feel safe, seen, and understood. At Polaris Wellness Group, our Colorado Springs counseling services strive to make certain all clients feel this way during every session.
It is important that our clients feel in control of their therapeutic experience and set the pace and topic for their sessions. Regardless of what you are seeking therapy for, you get to decide when and how we approach these topics and how in-depth we go. As therapists, we view our role as providing feedback, support, and guidance to the healing and change process, not as being experts on your life.
Therapy can be life changing. Beginning the work can be intimidating and overwhelming. Being willing to open up to a new therapist and allow them into your thoughts, feelings, and experiences takes a lot of courage.
You are not in this alone; we’re here to help navigate life’s challenges together.
Meet the Founders
Through our years of experience, we have found that healing occurs when you feel safe, seen, heard, and understood. We strive to make certain that clients feel this way in each session.
It is important to us that our clients feel in control of their therapeutic experience by setting the pace and topic for each session. Regardless of what you are seeking counseling for, you get to decide when and how we will approach these topics and how in-depth we will go.
We view our role as providing feedback, support, and guidance to the healing and change process, not as being the expert on your life or future direction. We take very seriously the importance of making sure that our clients are prepared with coping mechanisms before diving into trauma or grief work, as having a solid coping foundation makes this work more safe, stable, and effective.
Counseling Services
Our team of licensed therapists specializes in a variety of areas, including individual counseling, couples therapy, family counseling, and more. We are a trauma specialty center. All of our therapists have specialized training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), with other treatment options available.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, we have the expertise to help you navigate through these difficult times. At our Colorado Springs counseling center, all individualized and group treatment opportunities are available.
We also believe in a holistic approach to wellness, addressing not just the symptoms but also the underlying causes of your struggles. In addition to our EMDR focus, our therapists utilize evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, and solution-focused therapy to help you achieve lasting positive change.
